Today is my first day at camp! It’s not exactly school (which starts in a month), but camp takes place at school with my future teacher(s) and some of my future classmates. I was very excited, yet very shy (jumping up and down while hiding behind mom’s leg), when meeting my teacher, but then I saw some familiar faces. I didn’t cry at all.
I’ve been watching Ben ride on his scooter for about a year and really want to learn. Here I am in January on Ben’s scooter, being cautious and going slow:
And here I am this weekend:
Yesterday, we went to the “Museum of Ice Cream” in San Francisco. This is a temporary, pop-up museum that’s more of an Instagram-ready experience than a typical museum. Before the museum, we looked at the Macy’s windows and the tree in Union Square, then we stopped at the St. Francis Hotel to see the Christmas castles (used to be gingerbread houses, but now they’re just made of sugar).
Then we went to the museum. There were samples of ice cream, cotton candy, mochi, and more. And lots of spaces to play with oversized items like gummy bears and unicorns. And a room made of mirrored tiles.
And at the end, a pool made of sprinkles…
I enjoyed the farm on Saturday too…
And Sunday was Easter. We got Easter baskets of bubbles, play doh, and a big chocolate bunny.
We hunted for eggs…kind of. I enjoyed looking for them, but Ben, not so much. Ben did find one, while I found the others.
